Upcoming Summit to Cover Growing China Insurance Asset Management and Investment Industry

In 2019, the asset scale of the overall insurance industry is continuously expanding. According to the latest data from IAMAC, the total asset value of China's insurance industry is set to exceed 20 trillion RMB by the end of the year. In the first three quarters of 2019, profits in insurance increased by 77.6%, ranking first among all industries, with a clear upward trend. In the meantime, in spite of an external environment featuring low interest and tough regulation, the insurance asset management industry still shows an increase in strength from domestic and overseas investment diversification and profit growth. With better fintech, a more standardized operational marketplace and more “win-win” cooperation and competition, the insurance asset management industry in China is bound to usher in a new opportunity for growth.

With the goal of supporting such a positive outlook for the industry, and following the outstanding success of last year’s event, Duxes will host the 4th China International Insurance Asset Management & Investment Summit in Shanghai from May 21-22, 2020. The summit will provide an unrivaled platform for participants to learn about the latest policies, development trends and data of China's insurance asset management industry. This conference will be attended by hundreds of leading authorities from the Chinese government, official associations and insurance asset management companies who will gather together to assess the latest policy and development trends around the new situation regarding China’s current insurance investment market.

Through an in-depth program of presentations, round table discussions and networking opportunities, participants will share their valuable experience and in-depth analysis of the market. The summit will cover a wide range of timely topics. Presentations from policymakers will highlight new regulations on asset management in China, as well as an analysis of overseas investment market for Chinese insurance funds. Further content will delve into important developments such as the current situation and practice of pension fund and infrastructure investment in China and across Asia, and asset allocation strategies of insurance companies, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, and more.

In providing this high-level platform for exchange and cooperation, Duxes hopes to further the development of the insurance asset management and investment sector, both within China and around the world. Professionals working in insurance asset management, insurance, reinsurance, fund management, asset management, consulting, accounting, and related fields, are invited to attend.
